Helping You Be Comfortable Since 1975

We specialize in high efficiency furnaces. Due to the very nature of these units a thorough inspection and sizing must be done before a properly sized furnace can be recommended. To do a proper evaluation we follow the industry recognized Manual J and Manual D methods. The US Department of Energy and Consumer Reports both state that this must be done before a new furnace is installed.

We will take the time to:

  • Measure windows
  • Measure exterior doors
  • Measure outside wall measurements and insulation values
  • Measure ceiling area and insulation values
  • Measure supply and return ductwork airflow
  • Measure ductwork sizes along with number of supplies and returns

After the data is compiled and entered we will be able to tell you exactly what size of furnace is needed for your home and exactly what amount of airflow and ductwork is needed to make sure it will operate at the promised efficiencies. Skipping this step and doing just a square footage sizing method or any other non recommended method will almost always end up giving you an improperly sized system that will increase you gas and electric bills, cause breakdowns, cause higher humidity levels in the summer, cause the systems to run noisier, and greatly shorten the useful life of the unit. This is why we stand out above the rest, we take the extra hours to design the system properly before giving you the investment amount.
Studies have shown that after brand new furnaces are installed that 90% of heating and cooling contractors did the installation incorrectly. This means 90% of the homeowners did not get the energy savings they were promised.

This is why we take the time to do it right the first time! Your new installation will NOT be done by a subcontractor and after our thorough start up process we guarantee you will not be over paying to your gas company for the next 20 years due to installer error.

Most furnaces will come with a 10 to 20 year parts and labor warranty and some even come with a 1 or 2 year test drive with a no excuses return policy for a full refund. Now that puts all the liability on us and not you. When was the last time you heard of a contractor taking the liability of their work with a money back guarantee ?
